Ten Heavenly Stems and Twelve Terestrial Branches
Each of
the 60 years in the 天干地支 Ten Heavenly Stems and Twelve
Terestrial Branches of the Chinese Sexagenary Cycle has
a unique name. In other words, the cycle repeats every 60 years. The order or
sequence of the 天干地支 starts with 甲子 jiǎ zǐ and ends with
癸亥 guǐ hài.
A new cycle began in 1984.
