HTML
HTML stands for hyper text markup language. It is a computer language that is used to develop webpages. There are a few versions of HTML, and in early 2017, HTML5 was the latest and the one with rather capable features. Together with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and Javascript, a web developer could come up with some stylish webpages.
Webpage editors are used to create and modify HTML. Developers would use editors such as

among others to build their webpages.
Users would then use web browsers to view the webpages online.
