BIPM stands for
Bureau International Des Poids

国际计量局 and in English - The International Bureau of Weights and
Measures. It is located in France 法国. It is tasked to ensure
global consistency 一致性, accuracy 精确 and fairness 公平 in
measurements 测量. They are also responsible for curating the
system of definitions known as the
SI
Units 国际单位制. This is an
organisation (bureau) about metrology
